AR App for AR Enhanced Periodic Table Presented by Tokyo Electron

Introduction

Tokyo Electron’s Periodic Table of Elements (Japanese and English) with augmented reality (AR) features was published in the Asahi Shimbun newspaper on July 22, 2017, as well as on the company’s own website (http://www.tel.co.jp/genso/en/).
TEL’s AR app is a dedicated augmented reality application that makes learning fun. It reads each of the element cards data from AR cameras and supports the Japanese and English versions of the AR Enhanced Periodic Table. With narration included, the AR app enables a deeper level of understanding of the elements.

This app is provided for use with the 2017 edition of TELs Periodic Table of Elements (Japanese and English). The 2017 edition includes nihonium (Nh), an element that was only officially named in November 2016.
The latest update added support for iPad.
